“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive.” - Brené Brown
Laura has a heart to provide her clients a caring space to be who they are, where they are; a space to process shame, wrestle with grief, and become curious about the impact of their own story. She believes that a genuine connection, in and of itself, is deeply healing and can be harder to come by than it seems. Laura longs for her clients to know freedom from the obstacles they face, and is honored to walk alongside them though the process.
Laura spent several years working in an eating disorder residential treatment program. Afterwards, she worked in a private practice in St. Louis, helping adolescent girls and women. Laura also spent eight years working alongside her husband, caring for college girls in Reformed University Fellowship at Texas Christian University.
Laura is married, with three girls. In her spare time, she enjoys dance parties with her daughters, baking layer cakes, hiking, exploring Nashville with her husband, STL style pizza, and serving in the church.
